Te Whatu Ora Taranaki consumer council members outline the importance of consumer engagement

Te Tāhū Hauora Health Quality & Safety Commission has promoted and supported the setting up of consumer councils for several years.

In this interview Paula King and Jane Parker-Bishop talk about their work as co-chairs of the consumer council to Te Whatu Ora Taranaki (formerly the Taranaki District Health Board). They discuss how they reach the wider community and outline the purpose and aspirations of the group.
