The inaugural ‘Let’s discuss pressure injuries’ webinar was held on 12 August 2020. Facilitated by Dr Leona Dann, specialist patient safety at the Health Quality & Safety Commission, this was an opportunity to hear about healing long-term pressure ulcers.
Anj Dickson, wound care clinical nurse specialist for pressure injury prevention at Counties Manukau Health, shared a case study where applying a holistic approach to a chronic pressure injury resulted in complete recovery.
