Webinar: Looking to the future for infection prevention and control in residential care
As we move forward, it is important to apply what we’ve learned from the pandemic to other areas of IPC. It is also time to take stock of how our IPC programmes comply with Ngā paerewa Health and disability services standard NZS 8134:2021.
This webinar had two presentations that address these topics.
Tanya Jackways discussed one of the newer tools for IPC that we can apply to other outbreaks such as norovirus, and Claire Underwood talked about section 5.3 Antimicrobial stewardship programme and implementation.
