PMMRC’s annual reports and working group reports published between 2011 and 2022

Reports to the Minister of Health

From 2005 to late 2010, PMMRC was a ministerial committee that reported to the Minister of Health. It was supported by the Ministry of Health. The responsibility for mortality review committees moved to Te Tāhū Hauora Health Quality & Safety Commission when it was established in 2010. 

Maternal Morbidity Working Group (MMWG) annual reports

The PMMRC MMWG was established in May 2016. It was responsible for reviewing maternal morbidity and developing recommendations and quality improvement initiatives to help reduce maternal morbidity in Aotearoa New Zealand. It was disestablished in 2023.
