Patient Safety Week 2018 evaluation

6 Dec 2021

Patient Safety Week was an awareness-raising week held on 4–10 November 2018.

It was coordinated for the fifth time by the Commission, with partnership from the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and the Ministry of Health. We were fortunate to be well supported by a skilled ideas group that included representatives from most areas of the sector.

This year’s Patient Safety Week theme was infection prevention and control, with a particular focus on hand hygiene.
