Update 7 March 2024: Te Tāhū Hauora Health Quality & Safety Commission appreciates all of the feedback provided on the draft Collaborating for quality: a framework for governance.
Considering all feedback and making changes to the document are important parts of the process of development. We continue to make steady progress on reviewing and incorporating feedback and will provide a further update in due course.
1 November 2023: Te Tāhū Hauora is seeking feedback from people within the health sector and from consumers and whānau on the draft clinical governance framework: collaborating for quality.
The framework aims to guide the health sector to continuously improve the quality of health services through robust clinical governance and emphasises the importance of robust clinical governance to clarify roles and responsibilities and foster a culture of shared learning. The draft framework reflects the legislative and system changes in the health sector and builds on our previous clinical governance guidance (2017).
