Presenters Dr Joanna Hikaka and Dr Ngaire Kerse from the University of Auckland present the high-level findings of their Older Māori and aged residential care in Aotearoa report, which was commissioned and published by the Commission in 2021. The report was the first of its kind to better understand, raise awareness of and start discussion about the quality of care for Māori and aged residential care.
