The expert advisory group’s role is to provide independent expert advice to the Māori experiences of rehabilitation from major trauma project within the Commission’s trauma programme. The group supports the project team to scope and implement the programme’s findings to improve Māori trauma rehabilitation experiences and outcomes.
The expert advisory group (EAG) meets approximately 4–5 times a year, by Zoom or in person.
