Kia āta kōwhiri Choosing Wisely

The Choosing Wisely campaign seeks to reduce harm from unnecessary and low-value tests and treatment.

The critical haemorrhage expert reference group provides independent expert advice to the critical haemorrhage project within the Health Quality & Safety Commission’s trauma programme.

The group leads the development of national best practice guidance, providing expertise in haemorrhage management and trauma care from their respective fields.

The expert reference group meets approximately 4–5 times a year, by Zoom or in person. The meetings are supported by the Commission’s trauma programme team.
