Caregiver guides are point of care reference tools to support decision-making for health care assistants in aged care. The current caregiver guides is being reviewed and refreshed to provide a te ao Māori perspective and align with the evidence in the updated frailty care guides (2023 edition).
The national resource will have a wider reach. It will be promoted and made available to all ARC facilities throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. It would also be appropriate for whānau, spouses/family and home support services caring for older adults in the community.
Updates to the sector will be provided on this page and via the ARC Quality Lead members.
