The theme for Aotearoa Patient Safety Day 2023 is ‘Engaging patients for patient safety’ with the tagline ‘Elevate the voice of patients’. Resources are available to order now; more information about how to place your order is below.

Te Tāhū Hauora Health Quality & Safety Commission is using Aotearoa Patient Safety Day as an opportunity to promote and increase understanding of the consumer code of expectations for health entities’ engagement with consumers and whānau.

We invite health care providers across Aotearoa New Zealand to join us to celebrate this important mahi on Friday 17 November 2023.

Ordering resources

We are also developing a set of digital resources to provide to districts, which includes a video to promote the code, news items, social media graphics and suggested posts, screensavers and email signature headers.
