Improve your knowledge and skill in clinical governance

Building Leadership & Capability
28 April 2022

In November 2020, the Health Quality & Safety Commission New Zealand and the Australasian Institute of Clinical Governance (AICG) joined forces to improve the knowledge and skill around clinical governance in the health and disability sector.

The AICG continues to work with district health boards (DHBs) to build workforce capability in quality and safety competencies through clinical governance online courses and workshops, and through the flagship Certificate in Clinical Governance for Patient Safety and Quality Care, which has been adapted to an online delivery format and rolled out across several DHBs.

You too can become a graduate of AICG and display the post-nominal AICGG after your name by completing the certificate course. All graduates also receive a year’s complimentary membership, which includes access to member-only articles and free events. Find out more by visiting aicg.edu.au.

Alternatively, if you have a team that you would like to enrol into the programme before the end of June 2022, please email Melanie Hay, director of AICG, at mhay@aicg.edu.au to discuss.
